Being the official payment partner for FIFA (since 2007), Visa is joining forces with Crypto.com platform to launch a special collection of NFTs for the upcoming World Cup football tournament in Qatar.
Called “Visa Masters of Movement” the solution is described as a “first-of its-kind hybrid experience featuring a pre-event NFT auction and immersive activation for fans at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.” Five digital art collectibles, which feature legendary goals by Jared Borgetti, Tim Cahill, Carli Lloyd, Michael Owen and Maxi Rodriguez, will be auctioned on Crypto.com. Those lucky to get unique NFTs will also receive a high-quality printable art file and signed memorabilia from the legendary player featured in the NFT. Bids are accepted until Nov 8, 2022.
The money raised from the auction will be granted by Visa to charity.
The exciting digital experience will be ongoing during the tournament: the FIFA Fan Festival™ in Doha will feature a special space where fans will be able to try digital artistry and transform their movements into digital souvenirs and memorabilia with national flag colors.
