Mitsubishi UFJ names new head of rates S&T. Ryosei Hayashi has been appointed head of rates trading and sales business for Asia at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (HK). Hayashi has been with the Tokyo-based firm for over 20 years and primarily worked with the company’s rates and derivatives products mostly from its London office. He will be based in Hong Kong. ANZ appoints new ICG CEO and banking MD. ANZ’s Hong Kong-based CEO for international banking, Farhan Faruqui, will now be handling two roles at the Australian bank as he recently got appointed CEO of the bank’s institutional clients group. Sameer Sawhney, ANZ’s Singapore-based head of global banking, international and institutional banking meanwhile, is slated for a role change there as he is named managing director for Southeast Asia and India.
