Ex-Atlantis, CICC managers launch new hedge fund. Dennis Ni, a former portfolio manager at Atlantis Investments, and Jeffrey Deng, the former head of CICC asset management in Hong Kong, have teamed up to launch the Hong Kong-based Hedgestone Capital Group. Their first fund, a Greater China-focused long/short equity fund called the Hedgestone China Fund, is expected to be launched next month. Global Investor
Lim Advisors COO steps down after 10 years. Oscar Wan, Lim Advisors’ chief operating officer for the past decade, has stepped down from his role at the $2 billion hedge fund citing personal reasons. Graham Ernst and Ben Mak currently share Wan’s former responsibilities, with Ernst taking the mantle of COO as Mak holds both the CFO and CCO titles. Apac Financial Markets
