New York– Hello three-day weekend! The markets were down slightly Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing with a 0.29% drop. The S&P 500 had a similar 0.22% dip, and the Nasdaq was down a negligible 0.03%. The Nikkei 225 and FTSE 100 were both up slightly, 0.30% and 0.26% respectively.

The U.S. markets will be closed Monday for Memorial Day. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is closed Monday as well for Buddha’s birthday. London and Frankfurt have a May bank holiday Monday, too. Everyone will be back open on Tuesday.

The Clinton emails are out. A fraction of Hillary’s messages during her time as Secretary of State have been released, showing that former White House advisor Sidney Blumenthal told her that the Libya attack in 2012 had been planned for a month in advance.

Take your karaoke love a step up this weekend. The annual Eurovision contest will be aired Saturday around the globe. The Europop-fest, taking place in Vienna, Austria this year, has allowed representatives from member countries of the European Broadcasting Union to flex their golden pipes on TV since 1956. It’s like American Idol meets your state fair.

New Yorkers take to the shore! For the city dwellers that won’t be heading out to the Hamptons for the first official weekend of summer, NYC is hosting the annual Fleet Week. U.S. Navy ships are docked in Manhattan and open to the public for tours.

Recover from your Mad Men and David Letterman-less lives. George Clooney’s new movie Tomorrowland is out this weekend. Or, check out the filming of Michael Lewis’ “The Big Short” in New York. The Department of Financial Services is being used as the Lehman Brothers building for the movie.
